My daughter and I were visiting New York City and I had heard about this service from a public radio program. So I arranged for a tour. We had the most lovely tour guide who did exactly as I had hoped. My daughter was too young to remember the events of 9/11 and I wanted someone to talk to the both of us about that event, how it affected the city and to show us how things were being rebuilt. Our guide met us as arranged and was so very good to both of us. She was a former teacher, talked enough, didn't talk too much, spoke most specifically to my daughter and gave us so much information but not in a preachy or overbearing way. She dropped us off at the zoo, as we asked, gave us a tutorial about the subway system. She seemed to enjoy our company (I hope so as we enjoyed hers!) and before I knew it, the morning was over.

I highly recommend this service and would love for them to receive this prize. I have recommended this service to anyone I knew who was visiting the city and will continue to do so.
