TPC is an organization on-the-grow! As they continue to grow, there will be more and more volunteers needed in more and more places. For example: Here is one of our current projects: finding land on which to set up a campground that keeps in mind where your average street person is "at." Many are not quite ready to come inside out of the rain, so to speak. They have gotten used to living outdoors, and this open and natural environment provides a certain safe feeling that they aren't quite ready to give up. Yet their wilderness communities aren't that safe from predators, and they could be arrested for trespassing as well. In the camps we plan on setting up, they won't have to worry about hiding themselves, and concerned people will be looking in on them and keeping them supplied. The more camps of this type we set up, the more volunteers they will need--and the camps are just part of their outreach, so I hope volunteers will look us over and see where they might fit in.
