After years in the summer camp industry, seeing the power of intentional leadership and growth activities on young people, I was so excited to hear about the youth development efforts of A Thousand Summers. Now I’ve been involved with them for over 15 years as a volunteer and a board member and have seen countless young adults grow into positive and thoughtful adults as a result of their experiences. After spending a few years diving deeper into the organization as a board member, I’m even more impressed with the mission and dedication of the staff and volunteers.
