We were able to connect with Free2Luv last school year. We were excited to learn about their Express It program and what an amazing resource that will be for our students and community. We have seen a rise in the past few years of mental health support being needed and being expressed by our young people. Our school based student advocates were able to start groups for students at their schools to create a safe space to express themselves and receive support. Through these small groups community has been built and strengthen in their spaces. Free2Luv also helped support schoolwide community resource fairs with additional worksheets to introduce more families to the program. We are so thankful for Free2luv and their partnership. We look forward to continuing to partner with Free2luv to support our students and break down barriers and stigmas.
