My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Free2Luv, Seattle, WA, USA
Free2Luv reached out to us (Girls Inc. of the Berkshires) about a year ago after successfully collaborating with other Girls Inc. Affiliates around the country. I am really glad they did! I think this is something every Girls Inc, Affiliate and youth serving organization should be a part of. It aligns very well with the mission of Girls Inc. to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. It is free, which is always the magic word in the nonprofit world and requirements for use are minimal and very manageable. The Express It! books are unique, user friendly, and super fun! Our youth have been through so much over the last couple of years and the Express It! books make it possible to process some of those difficult feelings and emotions. I think it is a great way to address youth mental health but in a creative and expressive way. We know that youth mental health needs are at crisis levels, and this is something that can easily be put in place to help address some of those needs in the now. It gives participants an opportunity to reflect and share their thoughts on different topics and themes within their world and helps them realize they are not alone. Thumbs up all around!! Usually when someone reaches out the me with something they have to offer (program, event, etc.) there is a catch (cost, reporting, etc.). There is no catch with Free2Luv. What you see and what they say is what you get, and the staff are super helpful too! Thank you for reaching out to us! I hope that we can continue the collaboration!
