Being a member of the very organized, grant making team for United Midcoast Charities has been rewarding and eye-opening. As a collective group, we are exposed to so many amazing nonprofits, making a true difference in the lives of people who need assistance with shelter, food, work opportunities and healthcare. Knowing there is so much goodness and genuine care for the lives of others in our community confirms my commitment to living in midcoast Maine. I highly recommend others to consider joining the grant making team to work with a group of kind, thoughtful and dynamic individuals while learning about the services being offered by so many hearty non-profits with sincere love and support for others. UMCC bolsters the good our world needs today.
