Working with Saffyre Sanctuary as a volunteer was a very positive and life-changing experience. The horses are treated so well and being around them was very healing. Horses keep you living in the moment, which is very good especially for people dealing with anxiety and/or depression. There is so much to learn about horses and from horses, and Saffyre's owner and barn manager taught me so much about how to care for them. It was an honor to be a volunteer with Saffyre, and if I still lived in California I would still be working with those horses!
