After my accident one year ago life has become fairly uncomfortable, physically as well as mentally. However, I realized fairly early on that when I'm churnin' and burnin' up a canyon on a handcycle or zipping through the forest on an adaptive mountain bike that I forget about my disability. Recently I received a grant from High Fives to help me purchase my own handcycle. I can't thank them enough for their eagerness to see me outside again doing the things I love, and living life.
