Nor Cal Sup Groms helped to teach me basics of water safety while I was learning to Paddleboard. I've now been paddling for 1yr and a half and compete in races, gone on long distance endurance paddles, and have even safely gone under the golden gate! I could not have gotten to where I am without having first taken their racing courses and then falling in love with the community at Paddlesplash last year.

This past year, I've really enjoyed seeing the kiddos blossom as their gain confidence in their paddling skills. You can see the beaming smiles as they cross the finish line at the ever-so-fun PaddleSplash Festival. I hope to be able to volunteer and begin sharing my experience with the next generation of paddlers. It's crucial to get these kids into something they can learn to excel and gain confidence on and off the water.
