I am so grateful to have heard about and connect with the High Fives family. Having spoken with them briefly, they are a group of kind people who are ready to help out people affected by spinal cord injuries. They not only provide me with the tools to get into great health to live a long life, but they give me access to freedom. As a permanent wheelchair users, I am limited to the places I can go; like the beach, uphills, grassy areas, bike trails, etc. The mornings that I am out riding in my own, it never feels like I’m disabled. It’s a freeing feeling to be able to feel the breeze while your heart is pumping strong with the warm sun on your face. Because of High Fives I have many events to look forward to, thankful for a brighter future.
