I have volunteered at several shelters and the APA is by far the best. The staff loves the animals and has their welfare their top priority. I am a volunteer dog walker and have been at the APA for 4 years. I look forward to my shifts of walking the dogs. The volunteer program is very organized, the staff friendly and positive. The APA is always looking for new ways to enhance an animal's stay. The foster program is amazing and has allowed for many animals to be adopted. I can't say enough positive things about the organization.
