The EDRC is a great resource for those suffering thru eating disorders, both patients and their loved ones. As the parent of two children who suffered from anorexia, I know the value of such support to help one get thru unthinkably difficult times. Eating disorders are all too often suffered in silence - the EDRC helps break this silence so people can get help.

We volunteer for the EDRC as hosts of weekly on-line support groups for the family and loved ones of victims of eating disorders. These groups attract people from all across the country as they provide a safe place to share experiences and get support from a group of peers. They are immensely helpful.
