Having been involved in rescue for 3 decades, I’ve met a LOT of fellow rescuers and rescue organizations. I pay attention to which rescues have scandals, have been called out for bad behavior, haven’t done right by animals in their care, etc., and which ones always get it right. K9 Kismet has had a stellar reputation since their start. I have fostered for a long time for various rescues and recently offered my fostering services to K9 Kismet because of their outstanding work in rescue, especially in helping LBACS dogs get pulled and placed whether it was with them, other rescues, or independent rescuers like myself. Their Amigo program is an amazing contribution to helping independent rescuers and pet owners with vet and other bills to help keep dogs in homes instead of being surrendered to shelters. Their commitment to quality rescue over quantity and knowing their own limits is something I greatly admire and agree with. Overall, K9 Kismet is one of the best rescues I have come across in my many years of being involved on the rescue world.
