A year on, and I'm even more impressed.
RAFT is a fantastic organization providing educators with affordable, hands-on resources that ignite a passion for STEAM subjects in learners. Their creative approach to learning, coupled with a commitment to repurposing materials, makes a real difference in classrooms.
As a parent and volunteer, I am inspired with how RAFT stimulates students and fosters critical thinking skills. With the new endowment, RAFT will be able to expand its reach and impact even more students and educators. As a person that places a high value on education, equity and sustainability, I was especially excited to learn about the existence of RAFT. The staff is clearly passionate about their mission. The services that they provide to teachers, parents and the community are deeply meaningful and necessary. As a parent of school-aged children and full-time tech worker, they've inspired me to donate my very limited personal time to their cause and it has been absolutely worthwhile.
