Our family has been a village 2 village supporter for five years, and during that time, I have learned so much about a culture that I otherwise would not have been able to experience. I’ve loved building a connection with our sponsor child, watching her grow up, and getting to be part of her life in this small way from a different continent. I love the heart and mission of this organization and the people who run it are truly dedicated to these children, their entire families, and the whole village. I love that after children graduate from the program, some return to support the program as an adult. I think that speaks volumes of impact in the community.
