ALC is a fabulous charity that is accomplishing amazing things in the Charlotte community. As a member volunteer for 6 years, I continue to be impressed with the accomplishments of this hard-working energetic group of volunteers. The need in our community is great, and it is so rewarding to be a part of an organization that is feeding the hungry, clothing needy children, providing scholarships and mentoring youthful offenders. ALC partners with CMS schools to identify and meet the needs of underprivileged children. ALC partners with Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, the CMS International Center, Community Culinary School and other local organizations to identify needs and provide support.
