Review for Camp Casey, Farmington Hills, MI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Truly a genuine, compassionate, and caring organization! Camp Casey is a non-profit organization that provides several different horseback riding programs to children with cancer, rare blood disorders, and other life-threatening illnesses. This is a REAL legacy group and it creates important life-changing memories for the most deserving humans! Camp-Casey.org is built upon and around volunteerism from those who care for their affectionate Hero Herd animals, our host farms, our glue-like founders, the Cowboy Crews, and our absolutely professional and outstanding Board of Directors! I'm not sure, but would dare say that well over 95% of all incoming donations / grants / funding goes directly to the program costs and activities! Near zero overhead. Amazing! For almost twenty years now, we have been, and continue to be astounded at how Molly Reeser, along with her loving physician husband, two beautiful boys, and numerous volunteer partners operate, coordinate, and fully oversee this unique, powerful, and completely incomparable organization!

As the parents of two children who lost their lives to cancer, we can share with you very truthfully! Our oldest daughter Carly Gayle died in 1990 at age four due to leukemia. Our youngest daughter Casey Lin was a fantastic and intelligent child too. Casey loved horses! Casey met Molly in 2001. Molly saw how manipulating, riding, and enjoying such a big animal empowered Casey Lin by making her happy, giving her strength and real-life confidence. Getting the picture? This is REAL. You'll never find a more worthy organization to support. Period. We just love each and every person involved. Each and every person is integral to the entire picture and practice! Horsey House Calls / Cowboy Camp Outs / Lone Star Getaways / Outlaw Outings ... each impactful and permanent. We follow up with our families too!

Nothing is better for the inside of a person than the outside of a horse! Or something like that! Thanks for reading this and for considering Camp-Casey.org and the over 20,000 children benefited over the last two decades! Wow! We are super proud, and have nothing to do with anything except to have had the privilege of having Casey Lin as our kid. God bless us all, and pray for our country! Please go see the website at www.Camp-Casey.org --- Thanks! Can't fit Casey's picture here because I'm too wordy!
