KHS is an excellent animal welfare organization. We adopted our beloved Eddie from the shelter in January of 2023 after taking him out on a field trip while on vacation. He was shipped to Seattle and it was well organized with no hiccups. Top notch shelter that continues to provide amazing work for dogs and cats. Highly recommend adopting form this shelter near and afar. The transfer process is easy and seamless!
