Elliot Advocacy's swift response got my issue resolved immediately.
I had tried for weeks to solve a simple credit dispute with a giant online retailer on my own and got nowhere.
I had returned a product according to retailer's policy, and retailer had promptly credited my account. Some weeks later retailer charged me again. This time I called retailers customer service, explained issue and sent the UPS return receipt as proof. Retailer again credited to my account.
Weeks later, retailer again charged my credit card. I put a stop payment on my credit card and wrote a detailed email to retailer's executive office customer service (got execs names and emails from Elliot Advocacy online site). I documented my case in chronological order and enclosed mu UPS receipt.
The Executive office email replied basically that I should pay first (remove my credit card stop payment) and ask questions later. My email reply to retailer was that their position made no sense, and they'd left me no choice but to ask Elliot Advocacy for help, which I did.
The dispute was quickly resolved on my favor, but not logically--at least to me.
The giant retailer had the product merchant credit my account directly, then the giant retailer also issued me a flat sum credit voucher to compensate me for my troubles.
I would have been satisfied if retailer had simply removed the charge to my credit card.
All this to say, thank you Elliot Advocacy, for all you do for us consumers, you are simply amazing!
