I am the assistant director of the Treasure Island Community YMCA. I have been a part of this community for 6 years. Having this program veggie for vouchers has helped so many families in need. With the price of food continuing to inflate most of our residents are finding it hard to have food for their entire families. We have residents calling constantly asking for assistance and when the program is coming back. So many people have shared their stories, tears, and gratitude for veggie vouchers' help. We have seen people line up hours early outside to ensure they can receive the vouchers, and sometimes the weather is not the greatest. We as a team here at the YMCA are only here to ensure we can provide the much-needed services to serve our community. We serve with intention and love. Being able to partner with Veggie for vouchers has been one of the most impactful partnerships since I have been working here. Thank you for everything!
