When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in May 2022, I reached out to Support Connection, which was one of the smartest things I did.
I was able to benefit from Support Connection’s peer counseling program, where my peer counselor provided me with critical information and resources to help me navigate this new diagnosis, as well as suggestions and advice on how to remain positive. Talking with someone who had been through what I was going through, provided an exceptionally valuable perspective and I am so thankful for Support Connection.
I don’t know how I would have gotten through this process without the help of Support Connection and I am truly grateful for their compassion, knowledge and resources.
They provide a tremendous number of services for free, which is amazing and so helpful since a cancer diagnosis is certainly an unexpected expense.
