I was fortunate enough to work with Plan International USA in the donor relations department when I first started my career after finishing my university degree almost 10 years ago. It was at Plan that I learned about the unique challenges girls face worldwide and this inspired me to devote my career to gender justice work. The staff at Plan are remarkable, and wholly dedicated to the mission of the organization by consistently centering children’s rights and addressing inequalities that hold girls back. I was grateful to see this dedication first-hand working with colleagues across the fundraising and programs teams, and also through Plan’s community-centered partnerships. I look forward to continuing to be a part the Plan community for years to come!
