Eco Club at W.L. Morse is a parent volunteer run environmental club. CELF has collaborated with our Eco Club for 2 seasons by providing lessons to help club members (1st and 2nd grade students) better understand our connection and relationship with our environment. For example, with their instruction and guidance we made paper from reused paper to then create seed papers for gifting and planting. Several important environmental issues were addressed in this lesson such as reusing materials to reduce waste and the importance of growing and maintaining native wild plants to support the health and biodiversity of our environment. Not only were these lessons fruitful but very enjoyable! We really appreciate the contribution CELF has made to our club and we look forward to continue collaborating with them in the future.
