The ACAPL has always been a staple in our community for the many, many animals in need in our very large, rural County. As a Volunteer, an area resident and a prior Adopter, I have witnessed the Shelter always ready to step up and do what's right for the animals! I have adopted numerous seniors and health-challenged babies from them that other shelters would have euthanized. The staff works tirelessly to make sure the animals are comfortable and comforted. Dogs get walked, cats get cuddled and pocket pets are kept in proper surroundings. This organization gets a thumbs up and many, many stars!!
