Tried unsuccessfully twice to volunteer at Star of Hope for a position with this organization. Received a canned email, which I responded to and then no further communication back. Followed up twice with direct emails to 2 people listed as contacts, but still absolutely no response. This is not a well-run organization. Turning Point however was just the opposite we came today and worked in their new resource center where everyone was very nice and appreciative of us being there. One look at the property and you can see they take pride in their shelter everything was immaculate and the staff was eager to please.
