I am handicapped and have applied and been approved for a service dog. Prior to applying I was a supporter of the cause because I was impressed with this organization. I have really learned how organized, structured, skilled and incredibly kind this organization is.

It is truly amazing to see how this process works and how much time and energy they put into each dog and client.

In addition to the amazing work they do you can see that each of them love the animals.

The dogs that I have met have been excellently trained and sweet and loving.

The cost of the time and work put into each dog is tremendous, yet the cost to the client is much less due to the supporters and fundraisers of this great charity. I have met and/or seen many people with one of the PAALS dogs and have found that the dogs truly make a difference in each clients lives and the bond between the dog and the client is clear and amazing. PAALS puts a lot of effort into matching dogs and clients as you go through this process. They want the client AND the dog to be comfortable and happy.

I recommend supporting this organization for so many types of people: PTSD and Mobility Issue. This is one of those things that insurance doesn't find medically necessary and it is great to help make this service available for as many people as possible.
