Sandy Hook Promise is a targeted and successful charity that has measurably saved multiple hundreds of lives by exposing the signs that a vulnerable individual is planning to hurt others. They promote common sense when it comes to gun safety, like ways to keep guns from falling into the wrong hands. I once seriously thought about hurting others, but I marched to the hospital instead and received effective treatment in the form of medicine and redirection of my life. I discovered Sandy Hook Promise and soon became a part of the cause. We measurably prevent and protect children from serious violence. We have never stopped and will not stop until gun violence against children is obsolete.
