I decided to become a Promise Leader at Sandy Hook Promise a few months ago. This charity has prevented multiple school shootings and saved countless lives in that process. As someone who is still attending high-school it can be a scary experience to go to public school in America because of issues like gun violence. Having an organization that provides a safe space to report concerns is extremely useful. Not only does it provide this but Sandy Hook Promise also provides information about gun violence and why it’s important to prevent. They have fundraisers to donate money to causes that help save lives from gun violence. Sandy Hook Promise is an extremely useful charity run by wonderful people and it’s an important organization to be apart of.
