I am a person in long term recovery. I was introduced to Above and Beyond at the beginning of my journey of recovery. Because a CRSS member staff member shared his story with me it motivated me to press my way through my pain and sufferings. He was and still is today a walking example of what recovery looks like. Within the rooms of Above and Beyond I can feel the sincere compassion from each and every staff member. There needs to be a Above and Beyond on every side of Chicago. The welcoming ongoing support even after a person has graduated is a plus.
