I have been associated with MEF for eight years, when I first was a teacher with their English Language Program. The young people in the program are bright, motivated, fun and committed to bringing programs and services to their indigenous communities. It is truly inspiring. The English Language Program, as well as tutoring and scholarships give them the opportunity that they and their community most likely would not have had. It truly is a win/win as getting involved was initially my way of celebrating my 70 birthday. It truly is a gift that keeps on giving.
