Please be careful of non-profit organizations. According to them they don’t have to abide by HIPPA, with exception to the Psychologist on staff, which means the rest of the staff can give your personal, identifying, information (location, cell phone number, legal name change, etc.) to people they don’t have permission to. No matter what an organization may think of you, they still shouldn’t give out your information to people they don’t know. No release of information papers were signed. At the very least it’s unethical. They have put my safety greatly at risk.
