I have adopted several pets from the Humane Society of Huron Valley over the last 15 years. They consistently provide stellar care for the animals in their shelter and excellent support for those who adopt them. They offer all of the information they have about the animals' medical and behavioral issues to be sure nobody takes home a pet they aren't prepared to care for, and they provide follow-up support through their veterinary clinic and an app called Maddie's Pet Assistant. I admire this organization so much!
