I've been a volunteer camp counselor and a band coach, I've been a camper-mom, i've even joined and performed with a band in We Rock. Every experience with GR!DC has been an enriching one that has fed my soul and my creative spirit. Definitely recommend this org to gift valuable dollars to AND to engage with AND to participate in their brilliant programming.

Girls Rock! DC is a phenomenal organization. As a board member, a volunteer, a camper-mom, and a camp participant, I have had the honor of experiencing and witnessing the sustained difference that its programming -- directly and indirectly. i have watched my child blossom and flourish, i have faced down my own stage fright, I have worked alongside the most passionate and dedicated people to keep giving as many youth as possible access to the life affirming, confidence building opportunity to rock out in whatever way feels the safest and most authentic to them.
