I have loved Irving Schools Foundations since the moment I learned about it in 2011. As I have had the opportunity to work closer with the foundation through my school campus, I have experienced first hand the amazing things they do. We have been able to create and award scholarships annually to our former students, allow teachers to receive supplies for their classrooms, provide weekly food bags to our students in need, and most recently our counseling department received a Spark Tank grant to redo our counseling office to be more calming for students, utilize tools when students are overwhelmed, and provide an incentive to our students who improve their attendance this year. I could write pages and pages of how amazing this organization is, and it still wouldn't be enough. Every single thing they do is well thought out, implemented with fidelity and goes toward improving each and every individual in Irving ISD, students, parents, and staff.
