The first time I was able to see the care these animals receive I WAS BLOWN AWAY. There was a cat on an IV and babies being fed by syringe. Puppies being cleaned to rid them of flea infestations. These animals had no voice but Meg and the team with Miami Animal Rescue herd their CRIES FOR HELP.
We go through our lives never looking around us to see what we can do to help in any small way because we feal our own burdens are to big. Meg is the opposite she looks around and says this can be done and it will be done. She teaches many to see that the animals in the world are healers too. As each one from guineapig to rabbit from lizard to a cat or a dog each of them have a purpose and can help a person find a purpose within themselves.
Meg does not only heal the animals and finds them forever homes she helps a family find unconditional love that at times didn't know they were missing and now cannot live without.
The rescue did this for me. I now have a dog and a few cats that go on my walks with me every morning and I wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you Miami Animal Rescue for giving HOPE not only to the animals but to humanity as well. That is a gift you share with us all that come in contact with you and your organization. Thank you again for opening my eyes.
I truly hope the community stands by your side and learns to understand what a difficult task you have undertaken. That Miami Dade Animal Rescue survival and the good your team brings into this world ALL DEPEND ON OTHERS.
The time people give to help with the animals and the money donated for their health care and food is always welcomed appreciated and continuously needed.
