My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation, Tucson, AZ, USA
I am a Dementia Family Care Consultant wth Dementia Help Center in Indian Wells, CA. I became an ARPF Brain Longevity Specialist in 2019. I have used the expertise I gained in class to help my clients understand that they can delay or prevent the onset of dementia through practicing the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer's Prevention. These lifestyle changes create a difference for my clients, especially dementia family caregivers who need to stay healthy and strong so they can care for their loved ones.
This is the nonprofit that keeps on giving. The leadership stays in touch with their graduates and offers a membership program that allows graduates to continue their education and stay abreast of current developments in brain health. The home office gives tremendous personal and technical support through Chelsea Pyne and Kirti Khalsa.
There is also a separate program that offers members a chance to learn from their peers called the Peer 2 Peer program. The agenda is set by a core team of graduates who invite graduates and outside experts to create monthly programs lasting an hour to an hour and a half on some topic of brain health. These sessions are recorded so that graduates can access them when they have time available. All the graduates from 2017 on are surveyed each year and asked what areas of enrichment would help them develop their practices/businesses. ARPF wants to grow with us and seeks to find out how it can help us promotoe brain health internationally. I am very grateful to this vibrant organization for all it has done to make a difference in my life and in the live of so many others,
