When a student with special needs leaves high school, there are little options for their lives. As adults they are faced with day treatment programs, group care homes, and in home care that are unproductive, boring, and depressing, and with little hope of becoming something in life. In walks the College of Adaptive Arts. A real college for adults with special needs. The CAA is a place where a student can find their own voice and confidence in life and become a productive contributing member of society. The CAA fills a much needed gap in our educational system, and is working on replicating their unique learning model across community colleges country and even world wide. I've given the CAA 5 stars for the incredible and much needed work in the world of persons with disabilities.
