Review for Chris Kolenda Saber Six Foundation, Milwaukee, WI, USA
The Saber Six Foundation is an inspiration for all NPO's. Inspired by his six fallen paratrooper heroes in Afghanistan, Col. (Ret.) Chris Kolenda rode his bicycle 1700 miles from Nebraska to Arlington to pay his personal respects to his fallen in October 2022.
This inspired community support nationwide bringing veterans together long term to find their purpose, belonging and well-being to become an Ever Better Version of themselves.
From grass roots to greatness, Saber Six serves a population plagued with the effects of PTSD, by elevating joy with proven programs aimed at steering away from the drug and alcohol addictions that lead to suicide.
Purpose, Belonging, Well-Being through interactive mentorship is changing and saving lives daily.
As a professional in the field with experience with 100's of organizations, I can say this is a truly unique and effective model.
Review for College of Adaptive Arts, Saratoga, CA, USA
I met DeAnna Pursai in 2014 through a Chamber of Commerce introduction.
I was absolutely stunned at the first meeting with the passion, vision and heart for her many students. She is still willing to move mountains to get an equitable education for those with differing abilities. Staying close and helping out as much as I can with fundraising these nine years, she has never wavered in her dedication in spite of what was going on in her personal life.
The results have been extraordinary. Years later, dreams to reality. Now CAA is on West Valley College's campus. DeAnna and Dr. Pam were ready to move into action and persevered for all these years until the community was ready to make the dream a reality.
The greatest of these is the students whose love shines through each and every day because caring advocates and mountain movers never give up.
I am overjoyed when I think of CAA.
