I love Community Matters. Through my volunteer work at another agency, I came across Community Matters. They work to prevent school violence by making sure students have a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment to learn in. I love the idea that it makes schools safer for my child and yours! Who wants to hear about another school incident, or see their child scared because of Shooter Drills...not me! Their programs help to give all students a voice, and a power at their school, to make it the kind of place that school should be - a great place outside of home! If one teacher, or staff person, or another student can make another feel welcome and safe, and they pass the same along, imagine what the domino effect can be around out communities - and world!
I highly recommend supporting this organization and letting them into your community!
