Katal approached me after I created a small community bin outside my place of work and they enthusiastically wanted to help me expand my ideas to help the public. Without knowing me, they shared their resources and connections with me to help spread my mission to help the houseless around Connecticut. They have been nothing but supportive, lovely, and helpful for the few months I’ve known them. When I said I wanted to host an event for distributing harm reduction items, they went out of their way to make fliers for my event, as well as put the money up to feed people that attend the event. I can’t say enough good things about this organization. They are doing incredible things every day and still make time to help the people that have no resources on their own to make change happen. 10/10, incredible organization.
