Quietly, efficiently, and effectively, the Fistula Foundation tackles a little-recognized epidemic of health disabilities that ruins the lives of far too many women, their families, and their communities worldwide. My wife suffered from a fistula, but because we lived in the affluent USA, she had access to wonderful restorative health care.
