It has been incredible to volunteer with AHAH. So far I have done two programs (California Wildfire Relief and Ukraine Crisis) and my thirs in the Philippines is coming up. Aside from the fact that it is incredibly hard to find a charity that allows you to volunteer without asking You to pay a hefty fee for food and accommodation, the work they do is amazing. Always community centres, always liaised with local contacts, and always hands on: start to end, build, create, provide solid tangible help. Could not recommend it more.
