Review for Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences Inc, Doraville, GA, USA
MARR saved and gave me a life. Although I was successful in terms of material and external things, I was nothing inside and hated myself. MARR introduced me to the AA 12 step program which changed everything. MARR and the staff are the best I've encountered. If I had unlimited resources and had to place a family member in a program, I would choose MARR hands down above all other programs in the United States. I learned how to live and enjoy life without using substances; something I thought was impossible. They taught me about spirituality, compassion for others, unconditional love, self love, how to minimize fear based thinking, how to have healthy relatonships with others and how to live peacefully on life's terms. I still attend the aftercare program once a week - as a volunteer. I have been associated with MARR for 12 years.
