I read Grist often and find it to be a useful, engaging, humorous and thought provoking source of information on a wide range of environmental issues. It's hard to find an outlet writing about challenging and daunting environmental issues that makes you want to come back to read again - the humor part is big piece of the puzzle...

The analysis and information they provide I use both professionally and personally. For example, my organization's work on food, nutrition and obesity issues benefit from Grist's coverage of food and sustainability trends.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Cover more stories about water as an issue in and of itself - I work on water issues, and occasionally grist will cover it, but only if it is tied to climate, food, or pollution. The global water crisis and water justice are issues that equal the scale of these other issues that grist covers so well.
