Grist draws pictures with words, data, images and experience, to help bring issues and options home compellingly for professionals and citizens alike.
They use focused event coverage (like the Copenhagen climate summit) to help citizens get up to speed and share workable local strategies as well as national policy analysis.
Product analysis is a strength, whether it's bottled water or eco-friendly cosmetics - Grist probes chemistry, design, policy and alternatives cogently.
It's just a great, plain-English, read.
