I have LOVED working with Free2Luv here at Girls Inc of Sarasota County. I reached out to them as recommended by other affiliates of Girls Inc and since the start they have been nothing but enthusiastic, responsive, and supportive. I knew it would be a great match after my initial call with them and they haven't stopped making sure we always have what we need to succeed in this partnership.

They sent us over 150 Express It! journals for our girls to do this summer. The girls loved having a safe space to creatively express their thoughts and emotions on paper-- and I loved being a part of this journey with them! It was really special for them to be able to create and explore in this book without limitations-- they were excited all over again every time I reminded them it is THEIR book and they get to decide how each page looks.

Over the chaotic summer journaling time was a space the girls would wind down and reflect. Some of them wanted to share and collaborate, and others preferred some alone time with it-- but they all shared the space and time together. It was very special to guide them through these.

The topics and themes in the book are very near and dear to my heart as well as the values here at Girls Inc. I am so glad I got to work with Free2Luv and can't wait to continue this partnership with such a great organization that has such a powerful mission in the future.
