I have volunteered with one of the GSROC locations for almost a year. The staff have been accepting, friendly and appreciative. They always say thank you and I never feel I am in the way. They are very patient with me when I make mistakes or ask for help. More importantly, the dogs at this location are cared for incredibly well. I am amazed at the cleaning and sanitization protocols at this location. It must be difficult to deal with so many special diets, medications, personalities and behaviors but the staff do it all well. The staff go out of their way to care for the special animals here and are truly happy when a resident gets adopted. I look forward to my Sunday morning volunteer shift and I share information about the rescue with as many people as I can!
