We have booked a room for 7 nights via booking in Santorini. Firstly, the reviews were fake and booking was investigating this issue, therefore we were mislead and thought we are paying for a 3 star service, 9.4 rating 55 reviews. The place is a 8 room building with no reception. The check-in was at 1500 we did not get told the room until 1520 and to confirm the booking the owner has asked us to provide the pin and the customer reference number. With the PIN he can access the reviews and the booking. There were several issues with the property from no towels no soap no clean sheets, humidity (mould on the painting above the bed), no airlflow (only a tiny window near the front door) therefore nothing dries and everything was wet, tv not working, no warddrobe. The owner kept ignoring everything and was constantly rude and nothing was solved via him. Now, the booking was “non-refundable “ and we had issues with getting our money back. However, Elliott Advocacy has helped us getting our money back free of charge which is simply just amazing!
