My moms parakeet got injured by our dog the other night. It was late so our vet was closed so we called the emergency vet which was no help because they don’t deal with birds so we started calling rescues. We left messages with several and then called feathered friends forever and was surprised when a person answered. The lady was very polite and helpful and gave suggestions on what we could do to help our parakeet. It’s been several days since we made all these calls and not a single one has called us back. I think that says it all. One out of probably ten places took the time to help us even though it was late at night. The concern showed will stay with us forever and we will always recommend this place because of what she did for us when nobody else would. Sad that nobody else called us back but it shows who cares and who doesn’t.
