Review for Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences Inc, Doraville, GA, USA
I came to MARR in 2009 on the brink of death. I was spiritually bankrupt, emotionally broken, mentality beat, and physically sick. I didn't think I could be helped in any way, therefore I didn't want help. I forever saw myself on drugs - pipe in hand. Around 6 months clean, I felt a change. I wasn't thinking my way through again. I was feeling the peace that I always searched for and I wanted more of it. Because of MARR, I have a new way of life. The tools laid down by the counselors, staff, and alumni have helped me grow into the person I have always wanted to be but never thought possible. MARR never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up. I have relationships with people that are real. I am present in the lives of my family. I am experiencing life in a different way, by God's grace. Today my spiritual life is what guides me and it all began at MARR. MARR saved me life. I am forever grateful to each and everyone of the counselors who continue to save my life on a regular basis and to the network that surrounds MARR.

I've been given another chance at life. A better life. A fulfilled and enriched life with endless possibilities of obtaining the life I have always wanted. Because of this organization, I can look in the mirror and like what I see in everything I am. I am honest with myself, true to myself, and honest with those around me.
